Resource Stewardship

I've reviewed hundreds of applications as a grantmaker, co-led programs distributing tens of thousands of dollars annually, and served as President of the Denver Regional Fund since 2018. At Elsewhence I designed a participatory funding model where the community itself decides where resources go — part talent show, part science fair.

That experience spans nearly fifteen years and multiple institutions — from Denver's Scientific and Cultural Facilities District to Burning Man's Global Art Grants to Apogaea's annual art program in the Colorado mountains.

I understand what a strong application looks like because I've read thousands of them. I understand what a well-run fund looks like because I've built one.
